DAA Talk by Mountaineer Sean Wisedale on Climbing Seven Summits – Monday, 6 August 2018

Mountaineer and film-maker Sean Wisedale, is the first from Africa to successfully climb the ‘Seven Summits’ - the highest mountain on every continent. Sean presents an inspirational talk on the ultimate challenge of reaching the summit of Mt Everest, the highest mountain on Earth.

Sean delivers a 40-minute spectacular visual presentation in his personable and easy-to-listen-to style. His talk is devoid of the usual motivational clichés and is adapta-ble to convey a corporate message or as after dinner entertainment. Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Himalayas, there is action, humour, tragedy, defeat and triumph in his story.

Sean’s style is humorous, but it counterbalances the serious challenges of climbing the highest mountain on earth. His presentation is more than just a story about climbing Mt Everest, it’s a story about preparation, patience, perseverance, determi-nation and taking advantage of opportunities. Mostly it’s about the art and culture of success.

Join us for what promises to be a most inspiring and informative evening with wine, juice, snacks and good- company afterwards!
