COMMUNIQUE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: STUDENT SERVICES LAUNCH - I CARE UKZN CAMPAIGN

The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) launched the ‘I care UKZN’ campaign on Thursday, 28 January 2016. The I CARE campaign is an initiative for students by students, and aims to raise funds that will assist academically excelling students who are unfunded and are unable to continue with their respective studies.

The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) launched the ‘I care UKZN’ campaign on Thursday, 28 January 2016.

The I CARE campaign is an initiative for students by students, and aims to raise funds that will assist academically excelling students who are unfunded and are unable to continue with their respective studies. With the support of University Management, the UKZN Student Leadership (SRC) will be driving the campaign and making appeals to staff, students, corporates, individuals and all stakeholders who can contribute to this very worthy cause.

The Student Leadership, inspired by initiatives at other institutions and cognisant of the growing need for funding are spearheading this programme.

The UKZN Community is requested to support this notable cause as it provides potential donors with the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young students.
