Durban Alumnus Association AGM and Talk – The First Since 2020

The UKZN Durban Alumnus Association held its first AGM and talk on the Howard College campus in February 2023 since COVID protocols prevented such meetings in 2020. It was wonderful to see graduates back on the campus and enjoying the usual festive social engagement. The AGM went very well and was conducted by the Association’s Chair and fellow alumnus – Mr Robin Ralfe. This was followed by a most informative talk by Emeritus Professor George Devenish. The talk titled: “The Interim Constitution in the Making” attracted many graduates wishing to pursue post-graduate studies in this particular field as well as teachers and people involved in various organisations which required additional information on the Constitution. Numerous questions were posed to Devenish after his talk and much discussion followed. Refreshments were served and a happy catch-up took place after the Question and Answer session. This is the first of a series of talks and outings planned by the Durban Alumnus Association for the coming months.
