The alumni of the University of KwaZulu-Natal pay only half the subscription fees at the library on production of an Alumni Benefit Card. This card can be obtained directly from the Alumni Relations office on Howard College.

If you reside in Pietermaritzburg, you can visit the library on the PMB Campus.
